Luxury Vinyl Flooring at Callahan's Carpet One

Different Types of Vinyl Flooring

You have decided that you want to have an easy maintenance floor in your home that is both durable and realistic looking. Vinyl and luxury vinyl flooring is the perfect option. They are both cost and time effective solutions for all types of homes and spaces. Vinyl and luxury vinyl may have some of the same properties, but they are definitely two different types of flooring options. Callahan’s Carpet One Floor & Home in Hudson, OH is your local retailer when it comes to flooring and we can help you find the right floor for your home.

Sheet Vinyl

Although you may think of dated kitchen flooring when sheet vinyl is mentioned, it actually has come a long way. New technology has made it possible for sheet vinyl to look more realistic than ever. It comes in 12 foot wide rolls that leave a virtually seamless installation. You can have the same look as stone or wood but with the easy maintenance of vinyl flooring.

WPC Flooring

Commonly misnamed water proof core flooring, WPC is actually short for wood plastic composite flooring. WPC is a 100% waterproof flooring option, which means you can have wood look flooring anywhere in your home including the basement or bathroom. Have a natural looking floor with only half the maintenance. Typically, all WPC products are considered luxury vinyl tiles or luxury vinyl planks, but not all luxury vinyl is WPC.

Rigid Core Flooring

Rigid core luxury vinyl is the most durable option available. Not only can you achieve realistic visuals of hardwood or stone, but you also have the added benefits of luxury vinyl. These hybrid floors are 100% waterproof, scratch and stain resistant, comfortable and quiet, and beautiful enough to install all throughout your home. Rigid core floors also absorb any subfloor imperfections, so you can install them over almost any subfloor.
